"This is much more ahead of my time...I'm not sure..." she sighed suddenly very home sick.

Kaja looked at herself and nodded, hugging Djar tightly. "I was hoping you'd say something like that... my love." She kissed his snout gently. "My armor can morph around the egg when it shows up in my womb. It shouldn't be too much of a problem."
She sat down in a chair. "Now, the reason why we've been brought to this time, I believe, is to save my brother. I've been thinking about it. But we have to be careful. If my younger self sees me, there could be problems. We have to tread lightly. My house isn't that far from here, and neither is the shopping mall. Any plans?"

Cobra narrowed his eyes, "How long do we have until the bomb drops? We can't just go there on an empty stomach..."
Djar nodded, "Well, food would be nice..." he held his hand out to Kaja, "Also... I'm confused... how is finding your own self in this time a bad thing?"
--------
Wayfinder smiled, "Are you missing your home?" Wayfinder asked, trying to comfort Raven, noticing her homesick...ness.

"I just miss how open minded everyone was back then....No one judged you on who your parents were or what you looked like...hell even if a dragon just waltzed into town they'd all look ask a few un-invasive questions and then welcome the stranger.....here everyone is so judgmental too many rules and stupid social cues....its annoying and a waist of my time I think I'd rather live in a cave then in any other place but my home..." Raven covered her mouth after spitting all of that out.

"It's just a bad feeling I have," Kaja said, taking Djar's hand. "If I were to meet my family, I could probably pose as a member of the military, but my younger self would know me right off the bat. We have to think tactics here."
She put on her helmet. "Search: Alsine Grand Shopping Mall."
Parisk's voice replied, "Searching... target acquired."
"Right," Kaja said. "Let's get some breakfast and check out of the hotel. We'll find better lodging near the mall itself. It's around 30 miles away so we'll have to pay to use a teleportation device. There should be a Teleportation Center in this area. Search: Teleportation Center." When she got the coordinates, she nodded. "2 miles away, to the east. It'll be a large, grandiose building. You won't miss it. Come on, let's go." She hefted up the briefcase and left the room.

Djar cocked his head, following her slowly, "Teleportation...?"
Cobra's eyes sparkled, "Oh my god... you mean like the thing on those cartoon shows of the future?! Holy crap, I'm in!" Cobra enthusiastically trotted behind Kaja, singing ab-libed lyrics about teleportation. ---------
Wayfinder blinked. He nodded to himself, "I see..." he mumbled, "I honestly think that there is too much bound to us... Djar and Kaja can't love one another, and yet nothing is keeping us from doing it.." he shook his head, "It's unfair... but... if you were to take residence in a cave... I wouldn't mind being there for you." he smiled to the ground, feeling coy about what he just said, "That sounded really silly..."

Raven sighed for maybe the hundredth time "my home was all I had...Ninetails like me were pretty much extinct...there were probably two maybe three of us left in the world......Irland ware I lived was open minded and took me in with open hearts....I guess I just miss being welcome and safe...."

Kaja shot Cobra a glare. "You. Shut up. We might not even be able to get to use it. I'll have to pull my 'I'm in the military' card." With that, they started to walk after checking out of the hotel. Kaja looked at Djar. "Well, teleportation... you're at a location one moment, and then you're at a completely different location the next. That's teleportation at its most basic explanation."

Cobra snickered, "Hey, it's pretty cool, isn't it?"
Djar narrowed his eyes, "Interesting..." he looked at the entrance to the diner, "Some of the mages can do something like that..." he smiled lightly, "It's rather interesting how they have this technology here... immense training is needed to do something like that..."
Meanwhile, Wayfinder and Raven had made their way into the diner. No one was there at the moment, but the food had been set up, as was the waffle maker. Wayfinder looked at the mechanism as the rest of everyone came in to the room, "What's this thing, Raven?"

Kaja looked at the diner that Wayfinder and Raven had gone into. "I think we should get breakfast first. Let's go, everyone." With that, she went inside.

(OOC: Gah, short posts everywhere. Let's fix this a bit.)
Wayfinder looked at Kaja and the others, "Oh, good morning everyone!"
Djar nodded, "Good morning, comrade..." he looked around, "This... is... much smaller than the diner in my time... why does it get so small?"
Cobra shrugged, "Convenience?" he looked at Raven, "Hey, Raves! Can I grab you for a minute? I wanna talk with you or something!"
Djar chuckled as Cobra dashed towards Raven and Wayfinder, "They're young. Let them go... in the mean time..." he looked at Kaja, "You, bearing my child. This was something I was hoping wouldn't happen... our emotions got the best of us... I feel ecstatic, don't partake me for regretting this, but I'm afraid of if this child grows to be part of the war you're in? What if... What if I'm taken back to my time and you're left without a father to your child?" he sighed, shaking his head, "There's just so much that needs to be assessed..."

Kaja sat down and thought. "It's best if the child stays with me. If he or she returns with you, he or she will be shunned. We have lizardfolk here, we can just say that the wings were a mutation. There have been instances of that happening. Some sort of ancestry kicking in..." she looked at a menu. "Guys, don't go ballistic. We have monetary limits," she directed at Cobra, Wayfinder, and Raven.
