The Journey to the Ledgendary Draconian Blade

Eiva's response enraged Raive to a large degree; he actually almost attacked Sioda, and he even unsheathed his katana and pointed it at him. "You want to leave!? Then fine! Go! We don't need you here!" Though inside, he partially understood what Eiva was going through. To live life under a constant shadow... he should have seen it.

And as soon as he realized that, his mind immediately became his own again. He sheathed his katana and cast his mind out to Eiva. Look... I just don't want you to die, Eiva. What I said was out-of-line... but my words hardly warranted what you said in return. I'm not going to apologize. But I understand what you're going through, if only a little.

(OOC: Man... jeez, look what Raive's anger can do when it gets out of control... I didn't know he could even get that angry.)

He walked towards Sioda, repeating the same exact words to him, changing Eiva's name for his. He then finished off by saying, "Why did you come along in the first place, Sioda? This hasn't done anything except to hurt your sister..."

[Eiva]

"In truth I don't even know......being raised by etch other at age 3 I guess I never learned how to....fix situations like these......" Sioda closed his eyes his shoulders drooping as he hung his head "I just don't know what to do......I'm so useless Eiva's always been the strong one...I don't know what to do aside from fallow her where ever she goes and be there when she needs someone to cry on.....She wont back down from this because I'm in danger......" he says sorrow breaking his voice. "I want to fix this.....I want to make things better.....this was my fault yet she bears all the weight.....I'm sorry we're of no use to you.......If I thought going back to Alexander was a better choice I would.....but I can't make her go back feeling like she's failed...... God she means the world to me......." Sioda's voice shook a bit he wasn't big on crying but his own pain mixed with Eiva's was making it hard.

Eiva was floating not far from the temple because Sioda, her whole world, was still there. So instead she stayed close but far enough that she could cry in peace and like the child she was wish things would get better. Wish for the parents they never had to guide them, or maybe just for Sioda's safe deliverance from all this pain and suffering. Did she feel bad for once again exploding and saying things she never ment? yes of course she did, she hated saying things like that it made her feel worse. She lays down on the borad her arm draped over the side as she thought trying to find away to get out of this and maybe just maybe save her brother and give him a chance in this world.

Raive thought for a second, and then he unbuckled his katana and handed it to Sioda. "I have the fragment of the Draconian Blade now. I don't need this katana... it's called Resurgence. Treat it well, Sioda, and it will save your life. Don't worry about me; I have my pistol Sigma and my Draconian Blade splinter. I'm just wondering... since you might be a chosen wielder... how will you get it if you can't do any combat? It'll inevitably come to that, you know. Just like my combat with the Shadow is ongoing... you and Eiva must fight with your own type of Shadow. Resurgence might help a bit. I... I honestly didn't know your predicament. I looked into your mind, a bit, and now I see what type of monster this Alexander person is. He's as bad as the Shadow corruption inside me. Hopefully this blade will help you sever the connection between you two and him. However, once you have your fragment, I want Resurgence back. Deal?"

The Lugias had all been watching the exchange silently. The female spoke. You can't be dead weight to Raive and the others, Sioda... you know you have to help in some way. Hmmm... could you possibly transfer some of your powers to him? He's a psychic... he could probably use your magic. In that way, you would help him. Or... you could connect your mind with his so that he may use your power. That's actually a better option. That way, you will help, and this demon Alexander won't harm you. The female seemed to smile.

[Aaron]

Sammy had been in another daze and looked at Eiva " What did you say to her?" she asks angrily but then softens her face " I just want to help my two friends find this blade i have no other reason for wanting it" she says truthfully.

Jade looked over at Raive along with Sioda. She sighed, confused with everything that was happening right at the second leg of their adventure. She looked at Eiva still in the sky, "Eiva!" she called, gesturing her over, "C'mere, I want to talk to you! Don't worry about the others, just talk to me!"

[Eiva]

Sioda gave a small smile in taking Resurgence " I know what my sister and must face.....we were trained to fight things that seem to come out of nightmares.....Thank you and you have my permission to us my magic on any occasion....Eiva's magic though is unstable and dangerous mine is a bit easier to manage" and with that and a mumbling of a few words of his language Sioda opened a connection in his mind for Raive "be careful though......this magic is carosive and untamed I'm really to young to be using it yet...... " he says a little embarrassed by admitting he really wasn't good at control yet.


Eiva looked at Jade more yelling........ she thought. Eiva carefully set herself down breaking the magic in the process and sighing when she realized it had happened because of her inability to control all of her magic at one time. Slowly she walked over to Jade quietly and looking at the ground. It wasn't that she was afraid more that she was ashamed of her actions. How many times would she allow others to see the Shadow Weaver she might be becoming? She didn't want to be reminded that dark magic had been forced into her by Alexander so as to have a light source and a force of dark power on his side. She stopped when she got to Jade still looking down and away her always tense shoulders drooping as she watched the ground like it had the answers the sea and sky no longer had for her.

Raive flexed his hands a bit as a bit of light played around them due to the connection of power. "Thank you, Sioda. Use Resurgence to protect your sister, and I'll use this magic to help you get through your trials. You're going to have to come with me as we do them. The fighting, however, might end up having to revolve around you. That's where the sword comes in. It may help. Hmmm... it might act as a conduit for your power. I've used my psychic power with it to create 'slashes' of energy in midair which I then direct at foes. Try casting a fireball through it sometime. Just make sure the blade itself isn't affected and you'll be fine."

He walked over to Eiva but stopped a short distance away, instead engaging in private mental conversation with his elders, talking about his mate and how he would use the blade to defend her. When he got to the part where she was pregnant, they seemed to beam with joy. Although she's a half-kin like yourself... it still pleases us greatly that there will be one more in the world.

[Eiva]

Sioda watched Eiva and Jade unsure of what Jade might have to say to his sister. Eiva was the stronger one....but she was also the easiest to hurt. Sioda was going to do what ever he could to stand up and protect his sister for once instead of her protecting him, she was after all his whole world.


Eiva stood and waited for Jade to do one of two things. One hit her for show her emotions, like Alexander did often, or Two yell at her. Both things she was used to her hand automatically going to rest on her colar. Though it seemed to be something she did in thought, she was thinking of how sad Sioda would be if he found out that the collar was the only thing keep her alive right now. Maybe after all of this.......Alexander will give me my soul back..... she thinks as she waits for what ever it is Jade has to say.

Jade looked at Eiva, before she leaned in and hugged her for a good long time. She broke from the hug after a few minutes, holding gently Eiva by the shoulders, "It's alright," she said, smiling. She reached into her backpack and pulled out a colorful feather. The feather was multi-colored, glimmering in the sun, sparkling elegantly in the radiant rays.

"Here," she said, giving her the feather, "It's a Phoenix feather (OOC: Because me). I found it on the ground when I was searching for another ancient relic. I looked online and it said that if one has the feather of the legendary race of the Phoenix, it could grant wishes, so I keep it as a lucky charm. I want you to have it. Maybe it'll help you."

[Eiva]

Eiva was already blushing from being hugged by Jade, she hadn't been expecting it. She blushed even more when Jade gave her the feather this was a first. Eiva had never been treated kindly before, not like this anyway. Eiva let a small smile show for once and nodded in her quiet disposition kind of way as she watched the feather catch sun rays. In a really quiet voice that sounded innocent and sweet, Eiva says "Thank you". This time the smile looked genuin and unforced it made a difference in how she looked. When she smiled like this she looked sweet and kind hearted as she was.

Raive gestured to Jade. "Come on, let's get going. Do you have any idea where this other temple might be? I sure don't." He stooped down and lowered his wings for her to climb onto his back.

[Eiva]

Sioda put and arm lovingly around his sister and ruffled her hair making it spike. "Sioda!" she giggling fixing her hair wings spred. "Think you can handle my board with out me?" she asks him jokingly.

"Funny....I only crashed it once....." he says hopping on the glowing gold orb as it transformed into a borad. He had almost forgotten the demon Eiva lived with had granted her wings. The black and silver wings only had slightly changed though they were lighter almost like the feathers were turning white.

"It's been a really long time since I've used my wings......." Eiva gave one powerful downword stroke and spun to face her brother in the air. It felt great to be able to fly once again, her hand once again going to the collar around her neck. Distantly she felt her soul flutter in joy somewhere far far away from her body.

[cobra]

Jade smiled, "Yes... let's depart..." she yawned loudly suddenly, "My... my... what time is it?" she looked over at the setting sun, "I think we need to take a break for a moment... Raive, do you know anywhere we could stay for the night?"

[raive]

Raive thought, taking off, signaling his farewell to the elders with a Lugia's musical cry, which was echoed by them. "I rarely get to see the Trueborn... oh, as for a place to stay... if I fly quickly, we can get back to the forest. I'm sure we could just sleep there. I have a sleeping bag in my backpack," he said, gesturing to the backpack that now hung from his chest in order to compensate Jade. "I can just sleep on the ground. There's also a beach near the forest, if you wanted. We can sleep under a barrier so either one is good."

[Eiva]

Eiva flew along side her brother a bright smile on her face as she felt the wind under her wings. Sioda tried to bump her but she dodged it gracefully and was on his other said with a look that said "do that again and watch what happens". She looked very happy in the sky Sioda preferred the ground but hey at lest he didn't have to look down.

"Eiva wait up!" he calls to her as she sped up to an amazing speed only to fold her wings slightly at the tips and stop on a dime so Sioda could catch up. She was giggling at his wind blown hair.
