The Journey to the Ledgendary Draconian Blade

[Eiva]

Eiva and Avie finally stopped their argument. "Until later then cutie...." Avie says disappearing.

"I swear she does that just to mess with you Eiva...." Sioda says to his sister as she pouts annoyedly.

"It's ok Sioda I'm used to it." she says in spell weaver too lazy to speak in english anymore.

Samuel sighed, "I want nothing with the blade because I don't like the idea of being powerful," he explained, "I only go to the temples because my brother wants the blade in order to bring respect to my deceased parents. I don't understand why he needs Xavier to do it, though..."

Jakal blinked, suspicious now. Not of Samuel, but of his brother, "Can we meet him? I mean, if everyone's alright with it."

Jade thought for a moment, "That sounds okay... maybe we can get to the blade once the people clear up near the evening. Raive?"

[raive]

Raive shook Jakal. "Are you serious? You want to meet him? After all he's done to us? He caused you that scar, he nearly killed me and Jade! I don't want to meet the other section of your mind, Samuel. Come on. Let's just find a place to lie low while this crowd thins out. I see a cafe over there. I could do with some tea. You three!" He called out to Sammy, Eiva, and Sioda. "Follow us."

[Eiva]

Eiva walked behind Sioda getting a closer look at Samuel think he was cute but staying shyly behind Sioda. Her tail down hanging her ears flatted back and down as she hides behind him from the eyes of people. They were the same size so he easily blocked her from sight Eiva peeked out bearly to see everyone.

Sioda had her hand in his feeling her fear seep through their bond. When ever Avie truly left her alone Eiva's truly shy and innocent personality showed through. She relied on Avie for her bravery when in truth she was afraid of the world she never knew. They never knew, but Sioda was willing to be her big protective brother as long as she needed this of him, so he fallowed Raive protecting his sister.

Samuel looked over at Raive, emotionally hurt. It always had to be his fault for Xavier's doings... He didn't mean for what had happen to happen.

Jade rested her hand on Samuel's shoulder, rubbing it affectionately, "Don't worry," Jade said, "Raive's just worried about us is all. I'm sure he knows your pain because... he's got something in his head too. Something evil, just like you. He doesn't mean any harm. Just give him time."

Jakal, on the other hand, looked up at Raive, projecting a thought to him. I don't blame you, he said, I don't trust the guy either... but... think for a moment. How did Samuel or Xavier, which ever one of them, know of our location when we attained the second splinter? The temple was out in a secluded area, no one would know it was there, other than you and the other Lugia. He couldn't have followed us, you would've known, right? You have the ability to sense the thoughts of others, as does the Elders and the Guardian. I think his brother knows something we don't. We need information, otherwise, we might be flying headfirst into something we're not supposed to. We want to avoid any enemy confrontation, traps, back-stabbing or anything else... Jakal paused, And I have a hunch that we should be worried about who controls Samuel and Xavier, and not them as a person. We could be walking into who our real enemy is.

(OOC: Serious atmosphere just became even more serious)

Sammy was following next to Eiva "U ok Ev?" she was afriad of Samuel and she felt safe and happy near Eiva and Sioda.

[Eiva]

"um...." Eiva stepped back feeling something stur inside her uncomfortably. Avie wasn't always around for fun and she wanted to come out bad. "You guys go ahead! I......Have something to take care of!" Eiva calls out to everyone covering her left eye her fur tinging black again as she took off.

Sioda just stood there looking worried and confused. "It isn't only Avie we have to worry about for Eiva sammy......... There's a darker more malevolent side to her that the dark magic comes from......We try our hardest to hide it but somethings seriously pushing Eiva past the point of control...." Sioda explains before anyone can ask.

[raive]

Raive mentally sighed, projecting his thoughts to Jakal. I just want Spirit to be safe. If I get killed, then I won't be doing anyone any favors. That's why I don't trust him... and to be frank, Jakal, I don't fully trust you either. At least Jade hasn't tried to kill me! But honestly, we need to move forward, and if Samuel's brother knows something we don't, we can pull ahead.

"Yes, I have the Shadow in my head. It's what caused me to set you on fire, something I normally wouldn't do. It makes me brutal. I savor others' pain and suffering. I have a hard time controlling it, too. Usually violence or the threat of violence sets it off."

[Eiva]

Sioda continues forward then stops "I'm sorry guys but I need to be with Eiva if you find anything met us back here. Sammy go with them." Sioda says before he faded into light to find his sister faster. (the mirror of Eiva's Shadow fade)

Eiva was on all fours in an ally as far from the others as possible shuddering and gasping as she fought back her dark magic with everything she had. Her face a mask of pure pain she wasn't just fighting the magic she was refusing Alexander's command. She was fighting his control in turn causing herself more pain.

"Eiva!" Sioda knelt down beside her as she shuddered in pain. "Eiva let it come....let it take over and I'll take what ever it is you need to hit me with...." Sioda says offering himself as a punching bag.

"n-no......Si-Sioda....." Eiva forces out a faint voice from her pained body "I-I........c-can't.......let.....him win..." she was finding his control harder to fight her body racked with unimaginable pain as Alexander uses her true name she cries out in pain.

"Let him win what?" Sioda asks her trying to understand.

"I....can't......Jade......and the others......keep.....them away......" fighting back was draining her but she wasn't going to fallow Alexander's kill order. "I.....don't.......want....to hurt.....them....." she says tears falling from her tightly closed eyes as her body shudders again. "Please.......get.....away......Sioda......I don't....want....to......." she ends her words on a loud cry of pain her fur turning blacker then Avie's her marks completely disappearing.

Sioda could sense what Eiva was telling him. Alexander wanted Him and the others dead and he was going to use Eiva's dark magic to do it. As much as he wanted to he knew there was nothing he could do for Eiva, if she turned he wouldn't be able to fight her and she was begging him. "As you wish" He says getting up to run back to the others as Eiva screams again.

Eiva pressed something into his hand "Tell Jade.......what ever.....I do.....I'm....sorry" she says pressing the feather into Sioda's hand in her last bit of sanity.

Sioda nodded but didn't leave instead he held his sister trying to help her hold back. "I'm not leaving you!" he says "Let the others live but I'm not leaving your side again." he says

Jakal chuckled mentally, After what I caught sight of you doing to the poor mutt, I don't think I would be turning against you at all. Truthfully, you scare me. Now, how about we get some stuff out of this guy.

Samuel blinked, "Violence..." he shook his head, "I'm sorry for you... But with me, Xavier sometimes takes control without me knowing, or if my brother wants him..." he stopped, obviously not wanting to go into detail about what his brother wanted from him, "So... are you sure you don't want to come, Raive?"

[raive]

Raive nodded. "On one condition. Give up Mysherra to me. This way, even if Xavier does take control, he won't be able to actually hurt me or anyone else. That's the only way I'll go with you, Samuel. With that pen you can do all sorts of damage to the wrong people. The Lugias are furious with you as it is. You should never go there again, because even though they're pacifists, they'll kill you for what you did to the temple." He held his hand out. "So what'll it be?"

His thoughts turned to Jade and Jakal. If he doesn't give it up, then I either may be forced to take it from him, or I won't go with you.

Meanwhile, the dragons interceded and attempted to repel Alexander's presence from Eiva's mind. You cannot take that which does not belong to you, demon. Leave this girl or there shall be a reckoning between us that you will never forget.

[Eiva]

Sioda held Eiva as she shuddered in pain her fur turning white again as Alexander slowly lost his grip on her. Finally he dropped it completely and Eiva fell against Sioda exhausted and trembling from the pain. "It's ok..... every things going to be ok " Sioda says rubbing Eiva's back gently trying to console her.

Eiva was on the verg of passing out her eyes slipping shut but her marks never came back. She knew the dragons had helped her she had heard them loud and clear Thank......you her mind was slowly shutting down and after awhile she passed out, Sioda pulled her more into his arms trying to stop her trembling he felt her fever but knew that illness wasn't something that could kill them only weaken. So afraid to move her Sioda stayed put in the ally his back against the wall holding Eiva's trembling body to him.

Samuel handed Raive Mysherrah without hesitation, pulling out a mechanical pencil from his pocket, "If that's all, I'm fine. I don't want to hurt anyone... So if it helps you trust me... I'm fine with it." Samuel began to lead the group away from the crowd afterwards, continuing to draw.

"Hey, what are you drawing?" Jakal said, looking over his shoulder curiously at the picture of the temple and the crowd, neatly designed and detailed.

"Oh, it's just the crowd that was in front of the temple," Samuel explained, "I... I want to become an artist when I get older. There haven't been any notable artists around here that have been respected for their art recently. My dream is to become one of the recognizable artists of this time period. I want to get better and better at recreating irreplaceable images of the world."

Jade blinked and smiled as she walked next to Raive. It was an honest dream...

[Eiva]

Sioda stood up realizing they were right infront of where they others had been heading. He sighed holding his sister in his arms her head on his shoulder. Absently Sioda thought how light Eiva was.

[raive]

Raive smiled. To become an artist... Raive didn't know what he would do. Staying with his mate had its merits, yes, but eventually he and Spirit should get out and do something. Travel the world? Not likely any time soon, considering Spirit's egg. Perhaps... no, he couldn't think of anything.

He pocketed Mysherra and continued to follow Samuel. Since he had given up his weapon, everything was fine. But...

He approached Samuel. "Will you be okay? That fire was really hot. I don't want you to be permanently scarred because of it."
