The Journey to the Ledgendary Draconian Blade

[Aaron]

Sammy drank some of her water and waited for Richard to respond to the question about her brother.

"Oh, nothing to worry about..." Richard said, smiling, "We have the best therapists for my little brother, and I assure you, he will not harm anyone again. And trust me... I don't have what he has."

Jakal flinched a bit, as did Jade. His tone felt unnerving... but for some reason, it lightened up when Richard turned to Sammy, the moment the main course was being served, "I apologize, but I don't think I've heard of a Jhonny," he said as various foods like rotisserie chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and other delicious turkey dinner foods were being served, "Now... if you'll excuse me... I'd love to stay here and dine with you all, but I have some business to attend to." Richard got up from the table and left the group with the food.

Jade shuddered, "That was creepy." she said, looking to Jakal.

Jakal snorted, taking a leg off from the turkey, biting it off ravenously. There was something that he didn't like about Richard, something that ticked him off... but what was it?

[Aaron]

Sammy started to shake a little " Something about him......." she trails off she felt scared of Richard.

Raive nodded uneasily, taking some mashed potatoes and digging in; he was quite hungry. After a few bites, he wiped his beak and said, "Yes, you're right. Something isn't quite right... he doesn't have what his brother has. Does that mean he has something more powerful?" He thoughtfully took some golden-baked bread and bit into it. "I'd hate to imagine." Then, he suddenly stiffened and closed his eyes, staying silent for about a minute, then grinning when he opened his eyes. "Spirit's just laid the egg. My brother helped her with it. I don't know when it'll hatch, but it'll be soon. The gestation period for Lugias is quite quick, so, about three months. Oh, I can't wait..." his eyes teared up in joy.

Jade smiled happily, "Congratulations on your new child!" she said, clapping.

Jakal bit off a piece of bread, smirking, "Now the next thing is figuring out a name for the sucker... three months of waiting to see if it's a guy or a girl..." he chuckled, "I would now enjoy being called Uncle Jakal now."

Jade looked over at Jakal, shaking her head, "C'mon, the egg isn't yours... although, Uncle Jakal does sound cute... And maybe even Aunt Jade!" she giggled.

Raive smirked and looked at Jakal. "Even after you tried to kill me?" He shook his head. "C'mon, I don't know when my next meal is going to be so I'm going to eat a lot." With that, he dug in, his thoughts filled with the images of the child. A father... he would be a father... he sniffled a bit.

[Aaron]

Sammy smiled ar Raive " I bet you'll be a great father" she says with a sweey smile.

Raive beamed over at Sammy. "Thanks. It makes me feel good to hear it from a child. To hear it no less from someone who's seen me fight and lose my mind to Shadow Lugia..." he faltered there. "Well, he doesn't usually come out unless I'm in an intense fight, so..."

[Eiva]

Sioda had sensed Raive's happiness through the bond made by his magic hey congrats Raive....you'll make a great father Sioda sends this message through his magic to Raive as he sat there waiting for Eiva to open her eyes again.

[Aaron]

Sammy smiled again glad to make him feel happy then she began to eat more food " wow I'm really hungry today" she says to herself.

[cobra]

"U-uhm..." a quiet voice spoke from the side of the dining room. Jade and Jakal looked over to see Samuel, staring at the ground, shyly. Jakal blinked, biting off some more of his chicken, "Wash shup kih?" Jakal said with a full mouth. (OOC: "What's up, kid?")

Samuel rubbed his hands together nervously, whimpering quietly, before he looked at the group, "I-I uh... I wanted to apologize for... attacking you earlier... I didn't want to hurt you... honest."

Jakal leaned back in the chair, chewing, "Dun wrry 'but et," (Don't worry 'bout it) he mumbled, gulping down his food, "It was your other head's fault, Xavier or whatever. You're alright." Jakal smiled.

Samuel looked back down at the ground, rubbing his hands, when he found his cheek on Jade's chest, her arms wrapped around his back, "No need to be afraid of us," Jade said reassuringly, "Everything is okay. Alright?"

Samuel blushed, looking up at Jade's bright smile. He tried to speak, but his voice got caught, so all that came out was a quiet, embarrassed mumble. "T...Th... Thank you.." Samuel said finally. Jade let Samuel go, sitting back in her chair, "Um..." Samuel started again, "C-Can I... sit with you all?"

Jakal gestured Samuel over to come sit next to him. Samuel slowly walked over and pulled a seat up next to him, timidly avoiding everyone's eyes.

[Aaron]

" You shouldn't be afraid we won't bite" Sammy says with a chuckle and a sweet smile.

[raive]

Raive didn't say anything during the exchange; he avoided looking at Samuel. In a way, Samuel's condition reminded him of his own, which made them disturbingly alike. It was a thought that Raive didn't like thinking about.

After a few seconds, he finally spoke. "I forgive you. We're alike. We both have powerful entities that we can't control. But tell me one thing. How did you get Xavier's presence in your mind in the first place?"

Samuel blinked, and sighed, "We honestly don't know how Xavier got here in the first place..." he drew on his sketchbook, a personal picture of a dark figure, "My parents told me it was hereditary... but when I was first possessed by Xavier, I was about seven. I had destroyed some of the families precious artifacts... they got me checked out... said I had split personality."

Jade frowned, "That's too bad..." she sighed.

"Yes..." Samuel said, glancing up at Raive, before back down, "I'm sort of like you Raive... but with you... you can control it... with me--" Samuel suddenly stiffened up, grunting and grasping his head. He groaned before shaking the pain away, gasping, "He'll come from nowhere..." he panted, "Just like that... thank goodness the dragons still have control over Xavier for now..."

Sammy wondered how Eiva and Sioda were " I hope I see them soon" she says to herself.
