The Journey to the Ledgendary Draconian Blade

(OOC: Get ready to meet the main rival in this post! ...what, you thought getting the blades were as easy as getting the Chaos Emeralds? This guy has been in my mind for a while. I want to use him now, if that's alright, kinda build on his character in this RP.)

Jade hopped from Raive's back and stretched her back, "Alright," she said, looking into the entrance, "Let's dance."

Jakal hopped off of his board, turning it back into a briefcase and tore off his goggles, rushing in with Jade, when he remembered that the next temple would reject him if he tried to enter. He stopped and sighed angrily. Uh... guys, he thought to the Lugia(I think this is better than Lugias.), I think I'm going to have to stay here. I'm not ready yet. he remembered the message from the dragon's spirit and relayed it to the Lugia, Maybe I could keep watch to see if anyone tries to enter... if that helps.

Jade dashed into the temple first, stopping at what looked like an open field, like the first temple, but on each side of the temple sat heads of Lugia. She took a step forward, and the Lugia animated, opening their mouths and sending blasts of air at a high speeds. Jade narrowed her eyes, picked up a rock and threw it at the air, watching as the rock was cut clean in half. She sighed, looking over the blasts of air to see that there was a pedestal with a gem on it, lines of red energy traveling from it to the heads. She took off her backpack and placed it on the ground, wrapping her tail around her waist like a belt, "I can get through this."

She stretched out her body before she took a step forward to the streams of wind. She ducked underneath the first blast, before she was met with an unparalleled stream, disabling her from moving any further down. She placed her hand over the second stream and managed to pull the rest of her body under the first one into a handstand. The third one happened to be the perfect area for her to arch over, place her feet on the ground and pull the rest of her body up, if it weren't for the fourth and final one. If she did that, she would have half a head to think with, or no head at all. So, with careful precision, she slowly arched over and placed her feet on the ground, and pulled her body up half-way so that she could walk through the stream, before she rushed towards the gem, cutting a bit of her hair in the moment, grabbing it and turning to see that the heads' mouths closed.

"Whew..." Jade sighed, holding her head in relief, "I'm glad I can put my flexibility to something useful... That was stressful."
----- LATER OUTSIDE-------

Jackal was sitting out by the ocean, firing bullets at the whirlpools, when something caught his eye. It looked like a wall of water making its way towards him. Jakal stood up, narrowing his eyes at what was approaching, quickly changing his gun into a Gatling gun.

What was approaching the temple looked like a dog, a black lab, wearing a black hoodie over his eyes and blue jeans, skating towards the temple with what looked like hover-shoes (OOC: Think Shadow's shoes).

"Hey, hey!" Jakal shouted to the Lugia , "Someone's coming this way!"

[Eiva]

Sioda and Eiva took a little longer to get in. Eiva wasn't holding up well fighting back on Alexander and their curent inability to think straight. Sioda didn't like it but Eiva wouldn't allow him to handle the barrier magic it was black magic after all and though it might kill her it was stronger then the light magic she knew. Imprisoned Angel......he....fitting name..... She winced hearing Alexander's voice in her head.

"So......um....what now? " Sioda asks finally catching up Eiva on his back painting in effort to keep Alexander at bay making it almost impossible for him to track the group through this trip.

The Lugias, being creatures of immense psychic power, noticed the twins struggling with a power that threatened to control them. Silently and without permission from the twins, a couple of them melded their minds with the twins' and drove Alexander back... for now. They unmelded their minds. The female spoke. It is a heavy burden that you must carry, young ones. The blade fragments will drive him back... it is why you are worthy for them.

Raive took position at the edge, looking straight at the figure. He cast his mind into the figure's own. What are you doing here! You have absolutely no right to be here! How did you even get here without the barrier's help? But Raive, for the moment, did not attack. "Jakal, be on your guard. I asked him what he's doing here, but let's see. Elders, there's--"

We've noticed. He will not be able to land here. Their eyes glowed and a barrier encompassed the whole of the temple. He will state his intention, and if he is evil, we will drive him away.

The figure's mind was odd to Raive's. He only replied in a cold dark tone, I must fulfill my mission. I must make him proud. His thoughts repeated over and over again, yet for some reason, there was a fainter quiet voice speaking. As if his mind was split in two, that calmer, fainter voice attempted to persuade the darker voice to stop what he was doing. Suddenly, the figure veered off the straight path, noticing the barrier, circling around it, testing for any weak points within it. When he found the barrier was as thick as steel, he ran away from the perimeter of the temple.

Jakal blinked, "Is he retreating?" he mumbled to himself. Suddenly, the figure pulled something from his pocket; what looked like a pen from a drawing tablet. Embedded on the uncapped pen was a jewel, a red fiery jewel that encased the pen with a mystic aura. Jakal changed Pandora into a Sniper and zoomed in on the figure to get a better view, before he gasped in shock of what weapon he had, "Oh, no..." he said, changing his weapon into a rocket-launcher, "Raive! Back-up now! We can't let him in the temple! He's got something extremely dangerous! That--"

Jakal was cut off when the figure suddenly charged at the barrier and drew a vertical line on it. His line appeared in red, before it was filled in with the colors of the complex ocean, cutting a gap in the barrier just enough for him to pass through quickly past the elders. Jakal was just about to fire, when he suddenly found the red line in front of his stomach. The natural colors of his body filled in, an he found himself bleeding out with a deep cut in him. He made no sound, but his mind quickly called out to the elders and Raive, Stop him now! his mind shouted.

[Aaron]

" Where are we going?" Sammy says sitting next to Eiva.

[raive]

Raive immediately went over to Jakal and started to heal him; the other Lugias took up a battle cry and more appeared seemingly out of nowhere to make ten. Intruder! You may have made it this far but you will not make it any further! They joined their minds and entombed him in one of the strongest psychic barriers Raive had ever seen, and then launched small homing Aeroblasts at the barrier, exploding inside it, ensuring that nearly anyone inside would simply be vaporized... or if the victim was especially strong, just knocked out.

(OOC: Though of course you'll find a way around it, Cobra. XD)

Raive didn't help the other Lugias; he was concentrating on healing Jakal, which was difficult - the cut was closing, but ever so slowly. "Whatever weapon did this is resistant to my healing... this'll take some time, Jakal, but I can do it. Join your mind with mine and I can probably do more."

(OOC: See, he 'aint dying just yet. He's just got an Ancient Weapon on him. I'll give him a character page later on.)

The figure stopped when the Lugia surrounded him, placing mind upon mind to keep the figure from escape. Before Aeroblasts could get to him, he shouted, "My soul is with you, Mysherrah, the Dragon's Pen! Inscribe the fate of my enemies!" he swung the pen around, runes forming in a circle around a thin red line. The runes deflected the powerful blasts of the Lugia, neutralizing them, while breaking the shield that kept him. When the shield shattered, the figure kept moving to the slow closing door of the temple, sliding into it before it closed and sealed up.

No! Jakal shouted within his mind, attempting to move, only to be wracked with pain, He got though! Damnit! Jade's in trouble! We need to get in there now! Hurry up Raive! We need to get in there! his mind hastened with his heart, making him light-headed with blood loss Augh... Jakal began to slow his racing mind, I know of that weapon he explained to Raive, That weapon is known as Mysherrah. It's what the kings of dragons used when they inscribed a law on stone. It's a powerful weapon that whatever you draw in the air, something will appear. It's said that the last dragon king to use that pen made tidal waves and whirlwinds just by drawing them. That guy was able to... ngh... to use that pen without any trouble... he even broke through that attack. And he didn't even uncap the pen... Underneath the cylindrical point of the pen resides a blade made out of pure energy. When the dragons used it, they could cut whole forests in half... I don't know what that guy can do with it... but... ngh... for all we know... Jade is in danger.

MEANWHILE-------

Jade had just made it past another trap that had two logs coming from either side of her and attempting to crush her. Lucky for her, her legs have the density of steel, so when she stuck out her leg, the logs smashed to bits. She walked past the logs into a fairly large room. It was dark, fit for a battle field... Jade stood ready for the next challenge, unaware that she was going to be caught up by this mysterious boy.

[Eiva]

Eiva winced slightly standing on her own a little ways from Sioda. They stood out side of the first trap unable to go any further. Eiva had released a golden orb to light the chamber more due to her fear of the dark. "Sioda.....I think something bad is going on outside..." she says fear making her quiet voice tremble.


"If there is we will have to stay her and watch Jade's back..." he says knowing full well Eiva wasn't up for another round of dark magic. They weren't taught to control light magic that came natural as did dark magic, but Sioda knew full well Eiva would not allow him to taint himself and his magic as she had.

[Aaron]

" Are there people after us?' sammy asks scared for the others.

[raive]

The Lugias collectively let out groans of displeasure. Raive! You must hasten in after him and kill him! We will heal Jakal; quickly! You must go! They kept the door open long enough for Raive to dash through. He unholstered his pistol and unsheathed the fragment of the Draconian Blade, it suddenly glowing brightly.

Fight with Talos' strength, Raive! Fight for the Dragon Lord of Blades! said the dragon's voices in his mind.

"You've got it! He won't hurt Jade!" Raive barreled down through the corridors, barrier active to repel any traps. Luckily, all the traps had been triggered and were still on "cool-down". He could see the boy speeding ahead, pen at the ready. Raive shot a few projectiles at him but he was moving too fast and Raive was losing ground. Raive then dug deep into the reserves of his energy and sprinted forward, his speed vastly increased. He overtook the boy and elbowed him in the side, ramming him into the wall, which cracked. (OOC: Raive used Agility!)

Raive entered the room where Jade waited. He was able to shout a warning. "Jade! Watch out! There's this guy with this really powerful weapon that can cut through anything! He almost killed Jakal and he's a few seconds behind me! Get in cover!"

Raive dove for cover and rigged the entrance with a psychic trap that would dull his enemy's mind and make his reactions slower. It had worked pretty much all the time and had allowed Raive to have the upper hand in fights. The beauty of the trap was that his enemies couldn't even see it, even if they tried - only Raive's allies, such as Jade and Jakal, could see it. To Jade, it would appear that shimmering lines of string ran from one edge of the entrance to the other, creating an ever-shifting "wall" of strings.

But Raive had his doubts - if this enemy could cut through a barrier made by ten Lugias, what chance did he and Jade have? They would have to fight. Raive aimed his pistol at the entrance, waiting for the mysterious boy...

Meanwhile, four Lugias had gathered around Jakal and had their wings outstretched over him, bathing him in psychic energy that would stimulate healing cells into hyperdrive. Combined, this was far stronger than Raive's healing abilities. However, the wound only closed slightly faster, and the female shook her head. This weapon is a fearsome one... and the wounds it causes are frightful. When faced with that weapon, scores of people die. You should consider yourself lucky you only received this deep wound. We can heal this, but it will scar. You do not walk away from an attack from this weapon and still be unscathed. How in the world did it end up in an inexperienced boy's hands?

[Eiva]

Eiva and Sioda blinked and watched all of this in surprise Eiva reinforced Raive's barrier and Sioda did the same Spell Weaver magic was very very different from Lugia's it was pure and raw untouched magic. "Sioda what do we do!?" She asks him yelping when he cut off a long patch of her hair.

"We try to back Raive and Jade up as much as we possibly can...." Sioda says summoning two orbs of silver light in to his hands/paws. Eiva fallowed suit summoning swirling black and gold orbs that seemed to speak of untold secrets. I need to try and focus... but .......I don't think we're any help..... Sioda thinks almost sadly.

[Aaron]

" Man i hate it! i want to help but i don't know how" sammy says to Eiva.

Jakal grumbled, I got fucking scarred by that son of a bitch... he snarled in his mind, Goddamnit! That fucking asshole! Jakal would have punched a wall, but because he was still healing, he let a deep growl escape from his maw. HE hated being caught off guard and rendered helpless for a while.

Meanwhile, in the temple, Jade flinched at Raive coming in, "Raive!?" she caught Raive's message and ran with Raive, and hid with him. "What's going on?" she whispered, "Who is--"

Suddenly, in came the character with such a look on his face. He tripped the trap and his senses dulled. He could still feel that he was holding his pen, and the creases rubbing against him, but he couldn't sense where Jade and Raive were. Frustrated, he stalked into the light into the next room, where a shield kept the blade from being obtained.

Jade turned to Raive, "What do we do?" she whispered, "He's going to get the blade!"

[Aaron]

Sammy was starting to get nervous " Are Raive and Jade gonna be ok?" she asks staying close to Eiva and Sioda.

[Eiva]

"we don't know..."they say quietly.
